CHEMICAL TANKER OPERATIONS:
This project saw us acting on behalf of the owners of a "new" chemical tanker. As the company - at that time - was new to chemical tankers, we sailed with them from Houston to Rosario. The project scope covered all aspects of advanced chemical tanker operations, from loading, discharging, cleaning and of course training. We have also written Operating procedures for chemical operators and advanced training material for Chemical Tanker Operations.
LNG OPERATIONS
LNG operations are changing. From what was, principally, a liner trade, with a few specialised operators,thedemand for a cleaner fuel, LNG, has risen dramatically over the last few years. As a result, the number of ships and operators has also risen dramatically. At MRMUK, we have been working with LNG carriers for some considerable time. LNG projects to date have included: Vessel inspections, Risk Assessments for insurance and business interuption, Technical writing of advanced training materials and procedures manuals.
